The Yeong-yang Wellness Therapy

The Yeong-yang Wellness Therapy (영양 웰니스 테라피) is a well researched and developed program that envelopes the nourishment essence of both Korean and Chinese Yang Sheng aspects. The core principle of this traditional medicine program puts paramount emphasis on prevention of illness through fostering and nurturing good health, beauty and vitality. Its developed based on thousands of years of knowledge and wisdom in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Our treatments seek to restore the harmony in the body by promoting the good circulation of the "Qi" and blood. In this way, the vital organs of the body will be sufficiently nourished with body's essential "food" to function optimally. Getting the body to achieve the balance where the organs are functioning in harmory is the aim of the Yeong-yang Wellness Therapy.

Our treatments uses pure essential oils extracted from precious natural herbs such as Angelica Sinensis (当归 dang gui), Korean Ginseng (人参 ren shen) etc. Formulations being developed in Korea. These essential oils are applied on the treated area, and the appropriate massage techniques are applied on the blood vessels and pressure points.

Depending on the area and condition treated, heat therapy, bian stone gua sha (砭石刮痧), bojin (拨筋) procedures may also be used. To enhance the benefits, these procedures may be performed using our instrument specially designed for the Wellness Series in Yeong-yang Wellness Therapy (养生补阳气疏通经络仪器). A herbal mask will be applied on the treated area to create a film that will trap the essense of the essential oils in your body, allowing better penetration of the essential oils into your skin for maximum benefit.

Why is Yang Sheng so important?

The purpose of Yang Sheng is to maintain the body and enhance vitality. In other words, Yang Sheng is nourishment of your life, elevation of your health. This is the reality: Health is the greatest wealth in life!

Traditional Chinese medicine wisdom believes that the most important things in human health are "Qi" and blood. All diseases in our body are caused by problems with "Qi" and blood. The main causes of these diseases, ranging from fever and cold to large tumors and blood clots, are poor circulation of "Qi" and blood, and low "Qi" and blood. On the contrary, as long as “Qi" and blood are in harmony, there will be no problems in the human body. Therefore, the most important point of health preservation is to nourish "Qi" and blood. The body's self-healing ability will automatically function to heal and repair the body. Irregular "Qi" and blood will cause strange illnesses and unbearable pain. The conditioning of all physical problems must be achieved by smoothing and replenishing the "Qi" and blood.
