The Yeong-yang Wellness Therapy
Depending on the area and condition treated, heat therapy, bian stone gua sha (砭石刮痧), bojin (拨筋) procedures may also be used. To enhance the benefits, these procedures may be performed using our instrument specially designed for the Wellness Series in Yeong-yang Wellness Therapy (养生补阳气疏通经络仪器). A herbal mask will be applied on the treated area to create a film that will trap the essense of the essential oils in your body, allowing better penetration of the essential oils into your skin for maximum benefit.
Why is Yang Sheng so important?
Traditional Chinese medicine wisdom believes that the most important things in human health are "Qi" and blood. All diseases in our body are caused by problems with "Qi" and blood. The main causes of these diseases, ranging from fever and cold to large tumors and blood clots, are poor circulation of "Qi" and blood, and low "Qi" and blood. On the contrary, as long as “Qi" and blood are in harmony, there will be no problems in the human body. Therefore, the most important point of health preservation is to nourish "Qi" and blood. The body's self-healing ability will automatically function to heal and repair the body. Irregular "Qi" and blood will cause strange illnesses and unbearable pain. The conditioning of all physical problems must be achieved by smoothing and replenishing the "Qi" and blood.
